U.S. players aren't the only people bummed by Full Tilt Poker's behavior of late. Many Canadian online poker players are outraged as well. With one class action lawsuit already filed against them in America. Full Tilt Poker now faces a second such suit, this time filed in America's neighbor to the north: Canada.

The Montreal Gazette reported on Saturday, September 10 that a Consumer Protection Company in Canada filed the suit on the behalf of poker players in Canada. The suit was filed by Consumer Law Group attorney Jeff Orenstein in the Superior Court of Quebec.

The suit claims that Full Tilt Poker is withholding $15 million in funds that belong to players recently ousted by the closure of the site, which is similar to the claim against FullTilt is the U.S. class action suit. The suit goes on to say that Canadian players at the site haven't been able to withdraw funds from their own accounts since June 29, the date when the Alderney Gambling Control Commission officially closed down Full Tilt Poker by revoking its gambling license.

As with the U.S. suit, many entities are named in this new, Canadian, class action lawsuit, including Ray Bitar and Nelson Burtnick, the owners of Full Tilt Poker, and associated business entities under the Full Tilt Poker umbrella, named as respondents, including Tiltware, Pocket Kings, Pocket Kings Consulting, Filco, Vantage, Ranston and Mail Media. All the celebrity poker pro members of Team Full Tilt (but for Phil Gordon) have also been named.
