Punta Cana Poker Fever has taken hold at Doyle's Room Poker. Already the site has been holding satellite tournaments awarding seats in the upcoming Punta Cana Poker Classic. But now, with the actual live event closing in, Doyles Room has upped the ante on the action...or rather, lowered the ante and upped the stakes. Now players can vie for 40 seats guaranteed in the Punta Cana Classic for buy-ins as low as $0.25.
Players wanting to claim one of these seats for themselves can enter one of 3 weekly Super Satellites at each of which 1 package is guaranteed to be awarded. They take place on Wednesdays at 8:05 pm and on Saturdays and Sundays at 3:05 pm. The direct buy-in for each of these events is $100 + $9, but players can skirt this buy-in by winning a seat via night satellites and daily satellite feeders.
A 5-package guaranteed event just took place last Sunday, October 9 but a 10-package guaranteed event has yet to take place, coming up Sunday, October 23.
The Punta Cana Poker Classic takes place in the Dominican Republic at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino between November 8 and 13, 2011. Prizes packages into this event awarded through Doyle's Room Poker's Punta Cana Poker Fever satellites are each worth $3,500.
