Destiny Davis, a Playboy Playmate, might lose her house because of the recent U.S. online poker crackdown.

The closing down of several top poker sites affected more than just players' wallets and it caused more of a shakeup than simply the anticipated departure of many leading poker pros from U.S. residency. It also might cause one Playboy Playmate to lose her house.

On April 16, 2011, the day after Black Friday, Playboy's Miss January 2005 Destiny Davis married Chad Elie, a Los Angeles businessman and one of the men just arrested the previous day in connection with the closure of online poker sites that served U.S. players at their real money tables. In addition to losing any money potentially associated with gains from part ownership of an illegal gambling business, Davis may also lose the $1.5 million home she shared with him.

That home was one of six that was named in a recent court filing as "forfeitable property". An additional 4 homes in Glendora, California are under suspicion of receiving the same fate, as they may be owned or in some other way connected to one of Full Tilt Poker's founders Ray Bitar. Mr. Bitar is currently suspected of being out of the country evading prosecution.

Charged with crimes including bank fraud that could lead to a 30-year or longer prison sentence, 31-year-old Elie, who was listed as a "payment processor", paid a $250K bail so he could get out of jail and get to the church on time to be wed to his Playmate bride.
