Just in time for the start of the ’11/’12 Premier League season, the Sportsbook and Racebook of the William Hill gaming and bookmaking enterprise has released Football Bet — a smartphone app for betting on live football games.
In celebration of the start of the 2011/2012 English Premier League season, bookmaker William Hill Sportsbook and Racebook, in cooperation with the Racing Post publication, has just put out a new smartphone app that allows people to wager on live football games via their mobile phones. Called Football Bet, the app does more than just make it quick and easy to place bets on football matches but it helps users to place better wagers with such useful features as expert tips and helpful stats.
Football Bet is a free app that looks to have an encouraging future with sports betting enthusiasts, if its antecedent, a racing app with a five-star rating and a steady hold on the top of the free sports app charts is any indication.
To promote awareness of the new app, William Hill is holding a variety of promotions related to upcoming matches. For example, last week the site offered £100 money back on all losing first goalscorer bets for seasoning opening match between West Brom and Man United.
William Hill and Racing Post’s Football Bet app is currently available as a free download for the iPhone via the official Apple iPhone store.
In related news, William Hill has renewed its partnership deal with News International and its newspaper The Sun to offer Dream Team fantasy football, allowing users to bet on players in various categories like the highest scorers in each position.
