The esteemed annual Betview Awards took place last week and the recipient of the Operator of 2011 award was William Hill Online, the company behind William Hill Casino, among other popular WilliamHill branded online gaming operations.

William Hill Online Casino is not just an award-winning online casino in concept, as it has just won the latest of its honors with the 2011 Online Company of the Year Award, given out at the Betview Awards last Tuesday evening, March 29, 2011 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, England. Representatives of the top gambling companies in the world were in attendance. While there are many bodies going around doling out awards and accolades to various online casinos, the Betview Awards holds a unique honor in themselves, being viewed by the gaming community as the Academy Awards of gambling.

William Hill Online was given the 2011 Company of the Year Award because of its state of the art software, creative ingenuity and its contribution in general to the world of gaming, in particular in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. Present to accept the award was the Henry Birch, CEO of WilliamHill.
