William Hill Poker has just introduced its Fantasy Football League for the 2012-13 season, with prizes ranging from £5 to £1,000 in free bets.
The newest addition to the William Hill Gaming enterprise is an old favorite whose time has come back around once again: it’s William Hill’s Fantasy Football League, part of William Hill Sports, though it gets its own subdomain: fantasyleague.williamhill.com.
How to play is simple: you build your own Premier League team and see how they fare, winning prizes for your team’s successes. What’s more, participants can go head-to-head with their friends and rivals to find out who’s put together the greatest team.
So first you pick your team: using an imaginary budget of £55m you select 11 Premier League footballers, in your choice of a 4-4-2 or 5-3-2 formation, and selecting a max of 2 players any single club.
Then you can make transfers unlimited times before the start of each of the eight Game Months, with 6 transfers allowed during Game Months. You score points in the following manner: all players score 3 points for a goal, 2 for an assist; defenders and goalkeepers get 3 points for a clean sheet but they also lose 1 point for every goal conceded.
It all starts at 12:45 on Saturday, September 15. Prizes range from £5 to £250 in free bets each month and £5 to £1,000 for the best 3 month performance. Best 3 month prizes go to the top 435 places while Game Month Prizes go to the top 100 places each month.
