As soon as you get the hang of this, you will thoroughly enjoy the game. Here are some of the betting types and how to win when betting on them that are used in a Craps game.
Pass Line Bet
You win on a Pass Line bet when the first total is a 7 or an 11 and you will lose when a craps which is composed of 2, 3 and 12 is rolled. When a point is rolled where in numbers 4 to 10 occurs, a point should be rolled once more in order to win; otherwise when you roll a 7 you lose the bet. An Odds bet on a Pass Line can be done when a point is rolled on a Pass line bet. Each point has an equivalent payout. For example a point of 4 or a 10 is equivalent to a payout of 2:1 while a 5 or a 9 pays 3:2 and 6 or an 8 is equivalent to 6:5. A point should be rolled first before you can win the bet.
Come Bet
Come Bet on the other hand is somewhat the same with a Pass Line bet. The only difference is that you can only make a Come bet when the point is determined in a Pass Line. Once you have placed your bet the first toss of the dice will show the come point. When a natural is rolled which is a 7or an 11 you win, however a toss of the dice with the result of 2, 3 and 12 will make you lose the game. Other points can make you a winner provided a natural is followed with another toss of a natural hand. The Odds on the Come bet is much the same with the Odds on the Pass Line bet where you place your bet on the Come bet instead of the Pass Line bet.
Don’t Pass Line Bet
A Don’t Pass Line bet is the opposite of Pass Line where in a roll of 2 and 3 will declare you a winner and a 7 or 11 will make you a loser. A 12 will result to a tie with the house. When a point is rolled, you need a seven first then the same point before winning the game. If another point is rolled you will lose. The Don’t Come bet is the opposite of the Come bet where once the come point is established you need to throw a 2 or 3 to win, 12 for a tie, and any point wins provided you roll a seven before another point is tossed.
Place Bet
The Place bets on the other hand happens once a point is determined. Bet on a throw resulting to any numbers between 4 and 10 and you will win when the number you placed your bet is thrown before a seven. The payoffs are different for each point here. The Field bet is used for a single dice roll. When 2, 3 4, 9, 10, 11 and a 12 is thrown, you will win. The Big Six and Big Eights are placed on any toss of the dice. A six or an eight rolled before a seven appears makes you a winner.
