Doyle’s Room Poker holds a special weekly tournament based on knocking out some of poker’s top talents: Hoyt Corkins, Mike Caro and the Godfather of Poker himself. It’s called, appropriately, the Bounty Tournament, and players are wanted for it now.
Doyle Brunson has put out a call for player wanted to compete in the new weekly Bounty Tournament, held at his online poker site, Doyle’s Room, every Wednesday night at 9 pm ET. There you’ll compete with Doyle himself and some of poker’s other biggest names not only for the granddaddy share of the $5,000 guaranteed tournament prize pool, but for the bounties on Doyle and his cohort’s heads.
Who are those cohorts exactly, with $150 bounties on each of their heads? That’ll be: Hoyt Corkins (screenname: HOYT_CORKINS), Mike Caro (screenname: MIKE_CARO) and Doyle Brunson (screenname: TEX_DOLLY).
The next New Guaranteed Doyle’s Bounty Tournament is being held Wednesday, March 9, 2011. Satellite tournaments into this event are going on now, every hour from 5:40 am to 5:40 pm ET for a buy-in of only $4 + $0.40.
As an added incentive for participating in this event, DoylesRoom is posting the Bounty Tournament winners’ names, and photos (if provided), on the site, including which player beat out which pro. You can even go there right now and see all the winner since this event started in January 2010.
If any Bounty knockout involves multiple pots, the winner of the pot in which the Bounty is knocked out wins the bonus. If any Bounty knockout involves multiple winners of the pot, the all those winners will split the bonus.
