The 2010 November Nine, the 9 final table players at the 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event, are about to face off again, this time at Foxwoods Mega Stack Challenge XIX.
Never before in history have the November Nine, the players who reached the final table of the World Series Of Poker Main Event, been gathered together again for a rematch tournament. But that is exactly what’s happening on Tuesday, February 8 in Mashantucket, Connecticut at Foxwoods Resort Casino during their Mega Stack Challenge XIX event.
As a reminder, these 9 players are:
-
2010 WSOP Champion Jonathan Duhamel
-
John Racener
-
Joseph Cheong
-
Filippo Candio
-
Michael Mizrachi
-
John Dolan
-
Jason Senti
-
Matt Jarvis
-
Soi (Cuong) Nguyen
To make the game even more interesting, Foxwoods is holding satellite tournaments between January 11 and February 3 to award some of its players the chance to sit in on the action. Rather than being a single table tournament, this will be a multi-table tournament comprised of three tables, held in the recently inaugurated Foxwoods Poker Tournament Room.
While all this is going on, Foxwoods will also be in the middle of running its Mega Stack Challenge XIX, running February 4 – 13, which, aptly enough, will be hosted by the 2010 WSOP November Nine.
The new Foxwoods Resort Poker Room is a World Poker Tour branded room, which suggests in addition to this WSOP rematch, we’ll also be seeing WPT events held there in the near future.
