Poker Stars has just announced the first half of the schedule for season 8 of its European Poker Tour, including this time three new stops: in Berlin, Campione and Madrid.
Poker Stars has been hosting the European Poker Tour since 2004 and now, with the coming of January 2012, the site marks the start of the EPT’s eighth season. And it does so with gusto, adding in three new stops to the tour schedule, starting with the return to the site of last season’s EPT finale, Madrid, Spain and the Casino Gran Madrid Torrelodones for EPT Madrid from March 12 to 17. Then there’s the EPT Campione at the Casino Municipale di Campione d’Italia off Lake Lugano in Italy from March 26 to 31 and the EPT Berlin in Germany’s capital from April 16 to 21.
Preceding all of those will be some player favorites on the regular PokerStars EPT tour schedule, starting with the kick-off event of the season, the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, or the PCA for short, from January 5 to 15. Then there’s the EPT Deauville from January 31 to February 6 and the EPT Copenhagen from February 20 to 25.
Remember, for all of these main event, Poker Stars will be holding satellite tournaments that offer as their grand prizes, EPT packages that include the main event buy-in and help with travel, accommodations and expenses.
Poker Stars also just announced a brand new online poker series for Turbo tournament players: the Turbo Championship of Online Poker, of TCOOP, taking place January 19 to 29.
