Having started on May 9, 2011, the SmartLive Vegasville Cash Tournament is in full swing, with two weeks down and two weeks left to go to win a £1,000 cash bonus.

Besides SmartLive Casino and SmartLive Live Casino, the SmartLive enterprise also hosts SmartLive Vegas, with additional games not found at the other branches of the franchise. For the month of May, 2011, SmartLive Vegas has been running a special promotion with bonus prizes being given out every week of the month, with a £1,000 cash award going out to the biggest winner at the end of it all.

The promotion is called the Vegasville Cash Tournament, and it works like this: each Monday, from 18:00 to 23:59 (or 6 pm – 11 pm BST) players flock to a selected game and play their hearts out. The five players who wager the most on the selected game during those hours will earn points ranging, aptly, from 1 to 5, in reverse of player position (in other words, the top player will get 5 points, the fifth will get 1). For that week, the top wagerer will claim £200. Second gets £100 and third gets £50.

Players hold onto those points after they win their weekly prize, however, because once all four week’s tournaments have been played out, the player with the most points will win an additional prize of £1,000.

The selected game for the night of May 16 is Video Slots; for May 23 it’s Video Poker and on May 30 it’s 3D Slots. Not any video slot, video poker or 3D slot, respectively, qualifies for the Vegasville Cash Tournament.
