Intertops Casino launches its second The Hobbit promotion with a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool, this one called Afteryule Festival.

Last month, December 2012, in honor of the impending release of Peter Jackson’s prequel to his Lord of the Ring motion picture trilogy, The Hobbit, Intertops Casino held a big Tolkein themed promotion with a $100,000 prize pool. Now, in January 2013, the site is rolling out a second hobbit themed promotion, with another $100,000 on offer. This time it’s called the $100,000 The Hobbit Afteryule Festival.

Running through January 29th, the latest $100K Hobbit promotion at Intertops Casino is structured the same as all other scoreboard contests in the site’s recent history. There are 6 scoreboards named in accordance with the theme (in this case: Festival Start, Snowball Fight, Catch a Show, Eating Contest, Dance Contest, and Shire Party).

Each scoreboard represents a different level of play as determined by the amount of points earned from that play. This allows players of all different levels and bankrolls to still participate in the contest and win a prize. The prizes associated with each scoreboard are awarded to 3 players chosen at random from each scoreboard on January 29, with a top prize of $1,000 cash. Prizes are either cash or bonus dollars.

Additionally, and also as usual, every Monday 150 players and every Thursday 50 players will be awarded bonus prizes based on their play on the site in the few days prior. Winnings players will be notified of their winnings by email.
