William Hill Poker has started running satellite tournaments for the upcoming second annual Grosvenor-UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) Goliath this August featuring a £100K guaranteed prize pool.

In August of last year (2011) the first ever GUKPT Goliath tournament happened at the Grosvenor G Casino in Coventry, home of Coventry City Football Club, promising a £100,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool which it subsequently exceeded as well as breaking the record for the biggest tournament field in a European poker tournament, thanks to 1,765 participants. Now it’s time for the second running of that new annual tradition, with the 2012 GUKPT Goliath promising, once again, an opportunity to compete against the biggest tournament field in Europe.

The 2012 GUKPT Goliath takes place August 19 – 28, 2012 and features the best tournament structure a £100 buy in event has ever seen with a massive 25,000 starting stack!

As with all other legs of the Grosvenor-UK Poker Tour, the prizes awarded in the 2012 GUKPT Goliath leg of satellites will feature £100 + £20 buy-in to the Main Event from August 23 – 27, as well as £515 for 6 nights of accommodation at the Hilton Hotel from August 22 – 28, and £360 to apply toward air travel and expenses.

Super Satellites for the 2012 GUKPT Goliath start on July 18 and cost £40+ £4 to buy-in directly. Super Satellites continue every Tuesday at 7:00 pm server time through August 14.
